Chaos as yobs launch fireworks outside Stratford Station
Teenagers were arrested following a series of fireworks attacks outside Stratford underground station on October 31.
A group of teenagers, aged between 16 and 18 were stopped by police after fireworks were launched in the midst of the public.
Luckily, no members of the public were injured, however, expressed their concerns regarding their safety on a normal Monday evening on their way home.
One member of the public said:
"It's quite alarming that I cannot simply go home without facing any obstacles like this. It's quite bizarre that parents aren't teaching their children simple rules of decorum!"
Police were quick to disperse these teenagers resulting in a temporary closure of Stratford Bus Station. Commuters were also advised to walk towards Angel Lane or Stratford Broadway to continue their journey.
"We have addressed concerns and are working tirelessly with detectives to resolve what seemed like an unprovoked attack at members of the public."
